New Madrid triathlon calendar in team time-trial mode. In principle this is a format that attracts me so much as at the end I could not go to El Barraco, I ended up pointing at me.

triathlon worst came at first, before you start. Popeeeeee tritraje wore new judges said they did not compete podóan leave because it was the same color as the old. The truth is that we saw it pretty bad but after pleading to let him get through.

try to talk a bit of tactics to follow, but between us and disaster ns even knew some (in fact I met Antonio and Ruben on the same day) I knew it would be a bit chaotic.

In swimming, the idea was that the best swimmers (Pancho, Antonio Ruben and) we protected the Worst (Charles and myself.) Nothing else I'll be out to catch Superconcentrated Pancho's feet ... "This is not escapes me at balls." And the truth is that I stood behind it with no problems but when I looked back I saw that Carlos was running behind so I yelled and got off the pace a bit. Before reaching the first buoy and we had spent two teams but we get on with it, trying to be grouped as much as possible and properly oriented. At the end was a comfortable swim, exiting the water in 17 'fixed and marking the worst part of all teams started well! heh, heh.
We take the bike to win, especially Carlos who wanted to get even swimming. It was two laps at Olympic circuit, ie up Garabitas. The first climb we do a good pace, with Carlos and Ruben Antonio and pulling hard and Pancho suffering but enduring. We see how far we are cutting a team and gives us a blast but when we reach is that it is a women's team And we better! In the flat rolled forward and tried to pass strong but I think I do well because then I see that open holes. Clearly we do not know to relay, which gives it is put sticks :-))

The second rise will Rubén pulling all the time and I see very strong. Climbed faster than in the previous and Antonio Pancho and not give everything to stay. With more grief than glory arrived at the T2 and, although I thought we had done worse, get left behind to 6 teams in the cycling part.

started running and I feel great so I get to shoot a challenging but manageable pace. Then Carlos takes the lead and sets the pace. I see Pancho and Antonio are paying some effort made with the bike, but we all had very clear is that we would not leave anyone shot, we had to get together to target the 5. We do the first lap in 10'06'', very well. We follow the same pace and having a little bit. We see that the other teams were literally pushing each other so that Carlos, who left here will be put to it, so we get no slow down one iota. Finally we head down the home straight, shake hands (and we better because the previous team we only got 3 seconds !!!!) and we went together on goal.

the end very good personal feelings and a real pleasure to have shared equipment with other armadillos. Besides competing with a lot cool your fellow club and not against them, as usual. Next year should be installed at least a couple of teams, and will sink, ha, ha, ha.

Finally a word of the cracks with the same team that touched me:
-Carlos M: chela knew swimming was going to make uphill out of the water but wanting to give everything and help as they come to the comeback.
-Reuben, a very complete trialeta, we saw very strong in all three sectors but especially on the bike.
-Antonio: good swimming, a pity that we were a drag on the sector. Cycling and running like a champ suffered for not staying and end up throwing began.
-Pancho: probably the best bike of his life. He knew how to suffer for no sag and go on the computer. See

Triathlon: 51.5 km

After an intense month, I decided to write the first review of the season. Perhaps until 4 weeks have passed since I started the season, half IM and 2 Olympics, I'm not self confident that after a year of break I can say that I have recovered from injury and I've found the right path training and rhythm.

Yesterday I finished the triathlon in Ferrol with the satisfaction of having done the best I can each of the sectors. Each triathlon is different, and every day you face the evidence differently. For starters, every time the test is in the afternoon or Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., never if I am right in addressing the previous meal. On Saturday I was on fruit all morning, not eat another bite, and at least I was not saturated with the feeling of having a full stomach. Maybe I had the feeling that I needed something more, but the experiment went wrong.

In other respects, all as expected:

* Swimming: decided to go strong at first, and managed to reach the first mark of 750 m with good feelings. I was around longer, and lost time compared to the first leg. Total 32 min.

* Cycling: Tour spectacular 100% Galicia. The track was demanding Ferrol output with up and down steep slopes, and climb a small harbor lay, until km 11. To turn and steep descent off the road and into the woods on a paved road Galician width of a car, with up-low, until you reach the "wall" of travel, 20% 500m, hard-nosed. From there down to the death to the beaches to start again with new slides and small harbor, to lose all that gives the bike to Ferrol.

good feeling, but until the 2 nd half of the route was started to overtake people. Authentic roller coaster turns 90 degrees to up and down steep slopes of 50 meters. I like these tracks. 1h 28min Total (27km / h)

* Career: After go flat in the previous segments, I had no career to suffer in the hardness of the bike. Circuit 4 laps with 2 steep slopes of remind you you're doing a triathlon and this is not clover. First
back to the rhythm of 5.15 km, watching people on all sides, second and third round with some dip, and final round and found myself well ahead of 4 or 5. Again gotten past that in the last km, which makes me end with good feelings.

Conclusions: if classified
-51 in my group, I get the number 51 is perfect and best possible (if we had participated Manu busy, jjj);
-I like mostly hard triathlon bike,
"I have tried the same in all 3 segments;
-and I think I'm recovered.

Thanks to Mary and my sister for the photos and above all be supporting in all sectors.
